HEAD is hiring a Presales Technical Support Manager – Geomatics/Remote Sensing to support its growth in the European, African and Latin American markets. Driven by an increasing demand in applications derived from the Earth observation technologies, we provide applications based on satellite imagery collected from more than 30 Earth observation satellites. We are working with our global partners to develop civilian and commercial applications based in satellite-based imagery for agriculture, maritime, infrastructure sectors. THE POSITION  Technical presales support in satellite image data processing and GIS to the commercial team  Participation in technical proposal for international open tenders and client proposal  Image quality assessment  Satellite image processing & photogrammetry  Manage the company’s data base and FTP dedicated for satellite imagery transfer  Daily coordination with the technical team in China: technical follow up of commercial order/offers  Lead the technical supports offered to the customers  Attend client meetings and open tender technical meetings  Attend international technical conferences in Europe (travel 5-6 times a year) BENEFITS  Permanent French contract (CDI) with social and health insurance, transport and meal allowance  Training – via teleconference format or attendance in relevant conferences/workshops  Training in China – at HEAD’s HQ and attend technical workshops organized by Chinese expert/industry  Chinese lesson will be provided if the candidate will be interested  Possibility of Home Office QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE  Excellent skills in GIS and knowledge of GIS Web Services (QGIS, ArcMap, Leaflet, OGC)  Excellent skills in RS and Photogrammetry (ERDAS, ENVI, SNAP and Python basic scripting)  Master of GIS data processing and DOM processing of satellite based remote sensing imagery  Master in space engineering, geomatics, remote sensing, physics, geography  4-6 years' experience in remote sensing, geomatics, GIS sector  Willing to work in an international environment.  Personal skill sets: drive for continuous learning, sense of responsibility, ability to work in an international and multicultural environment; ability to work autonomously; team player; honesty; ability to commit and deliver results to client.  Languages: Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Chinese is an asset.
