Job brief
We are looking for a new Data Scientist to join our small, fast-growing team! Reporting
directly to the CTO, the Data Scientist will play a key role in developing satellite
imagery models that will let us calculate a field's carbon stock and biomass.
Responsibilities
- Develop models related to satellite imagery like deep learning models, CNN or U-NET
- Help the team explore new methods for satellite imagery analysis
- Follow the evolutions and innovations in Machine Learning
Requirements and skills
- At least two years of experience in remote sensing and/or image processing
- Proficiency in model development using popular frameworks such as SKlearn, Tensorflow or
Pytorch
- Knowledge of deep learning models such as CNN, U-Net is required
- Knowledge of math, probability, statistics is required
- Experience with Python is required
- Fluency in English, French would be a plus
- Open and collaborative working style engaging with stakeholders to devise, implement and
test
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Please include the square root of 81 at
the bottom right of your CV
- Ability to work and communicate clearly and successfully across teams to deliver at a
pace
- Thirst and curiosity to learn and take opportunities
- Flexibility - quick to adapt approach as needed
- Openness, ability to question and challenge as necessary

Recruitment Process:
- Screening call with HR - 30 min
- Call related to job with the CTO - 45 minutes
- Technical test - Less than 1 hour
- Test Debrief with HM and team - 1 hour
